Great traditional American breakfast spot! Mom and pop breakfast places are getting harder and harder to find these days. This one is cool, quirky, and quaint with good food/great service. Menu is traditional southern with a little Florida flair and breakfast connoisseurs will not be disappointed here.

Every item on the menu is excellent. Huge portions, not overly seasoned are the norm here. Fresh, crisp produce, always. Always. Excellent coffee with refills. The pot roast and the tapioca pudding are no longer on the menu because the Greek chef who made these has returned to Greece and he took the recipes with him....sadly.

I like to find unique restaurants to have breakfast when I’m out of my local area. Millie’s came up as a Mom and Pop, non-chain restaurant. I arrived and told there would be a 20 minute wait and it was exactly that. We were taken to a lovey, clean table in exactly 20 minutes. The server arrived immediately. I am one of those who looks at the menu while I wait. This way, I am ready to order as soon as they server approaches. The server was there within a minute and asked if he could start us off with 2 coffees. I said I think we are ready to order. He didn’t flinch. He said go for it. I am a vegetarian so when I order, most servers get confused. Our server didn’t blink any eye. I said - can I have this but do not add this to it? He said- you tell me how you want it, that’s how you will get it. This server was amazing! We ordered 2 more things and the order came to in less than 3 minutes. It was hot, fresh, all my directions were followed and it was out of this world delicious!! Also, the restrooms were immaculate. The restaurant was busy but never loud or obnoxious. I can’t wait to return. Thank you to the wait staff, kitchen staff and manager George!!!!!

One of the best breakfast locale in Sarasota. It is right up there with Max's Table in terms of quality of food, service, and atmosphere. My wife and I have been to Millie's quite a few times and the food has always been outstanding, and their ham & cheddar cheese omelet is simply delicious. There is a wait most mornings so be prepared.

Millie’s is 5 star all the way. We found this gem searching online. It definitely a treasure. The atmosphere is charming, the food great and Claire our server, was the best. While on vacation in the area we ate breakfast 3 out of 4 days. Planning the same next year. I’m glad we are early birds, Sunday mornings seemed very busy

I haven't eaten here in 20 years, but the food was still as great as I remembered. Servers couldn't be more proficient or attentive to my coffee cup that a hole in the bottom. I downgraded the atmosphere to 4 not because of the cleanliness or decor. Those were also 5 of 5. It's a bit noisy from the customers, who cannot seem to talk instead of shouting at one another. Most probably need hearing aids ( which I have worn since age 25). This was a casual business meeting, so not a good place to have one. Excellent place to have a meal, no question about it.

Always delicious here. We went for breakfast this morning, Sunday. No wait at 9am. Had French toast (best in town), omelette, breakfast sandwich and chocolate chip pancakes. Coffee is hot and fresh and constantly poured.

My friend and I enjoying our brunch at Millie's on Sunday!!! It was delicious as always. And, Georgia is the very best!! I always enjoy seeing her when dining at Millies. My friend and I are Florida Natives and have been going to Millie's for many, many years!! Keep up the great work of serving delicious food whether it be breakfast, brunch or lunch!!!
